Given that there are multiple objectives in the design of the cooling system,it is not likely that every objective will be simultaneously optimized.The goal is for the plastic injection mold designer to reach a good compromise,such that fast and uniform cooling is achieved in a cost effective manner.The following seven step analysis is provided to support the plastic injection mold design decisions that have to be made.Afterwards,some common cooling issues and designs are developed.
