Plastic injection mould Objectives in structural system design

In general,the mold designer wished to provide a structural design for the mold that will not break due to fatigue across many plastic injection molding cycles,excessively deflect under load,and will not be overly bulky or expensive.These objectives can be explicitly stated as:

Minimize the stress,

Minimize deflection, and

Minimize cost.

Each of these objectives will be briefly discussed after which the detailed analysis and design of plastic injection molds are presented.
